Hey, yep came back with UTI diagnosis with a urine sample taken; however, i agree that she didn't have a lot of symptoms before it was obvious with the blood in urine and will continue to monitor her for any changes. Gave her a med and will also do another sample following the script. So hopefully, this is all it will be...thanks!
Glad you were able to find the cause! Hopefully, it will be cleared up in no time!

Both my boys occassionally have the hacking spells. (Like they have hairballs).
Pip has actually hacked up a hairball twice. One each summer for the past 2 years. I'm holding my breath for this years... . Both times it was a vomitting and the only thing that came out was a gob of really compressed dry hair with small pieces of bark, leaves, grass, etc.

The hacking thing. My Cowgirl[though we've had her for three weeks] has had afew hacking spells, sometimes on the leash[my mother said it was because she is an eccessive puller on the leash and she was causing her throat to collaspe and hacking was the only way she could fix herself] but just this morning she ate some food, and then came out of the room and started to hack again for no reason. [btw I fixed the leash problem, we got her a harness that doesn't pull on her neck and she has stopped choking herself on our walks] and also, I'm conserned about the breathing problems. I'm afraid that she has some breathing problems because she is laying on my lap[sleeping pretty deeply] at the moment, and she is making a strange noise [kindof like a snore, but not exactly like one] and she stops when I lift her head to the sky[she continues to sleep. Very deep sleeper xD]

Do you guys think any of this is a problem devolping?

It sounds like "reverse sneezing". It's not a problem, just something that happens.

You can help her by covering her nose when it happens. This forces her to take a breath through her mouth. Or blow a quick puff of air into her nose. Does the same thing only quicker.
