Keeping Corgis well

Here are a few tips to keep your Corgi/s well and away from extra trips to the vet.

Use flea control products to prevent fleas.

Feed a good quality dog food that is AAFCO-approved.

For Corgis in heartworm areas, make sure the Corgi is on a heartworm prevention.

Keep your Corgi in control, leashed or in a fenced yard to help prevent many bite wounds, toxin ingestion and accidents.

Observe for problems every day - make sure your Corgi is eating, drinking and eliminating normally.

Use your hands to touch/feel and look at your Corgi daily - notice any abnormal growths or tumours as well as any weight loss.

Dedicate 30 minutes to 90 minutes daily for exercise time.

Annual check-ups.
