Just a quick question about chicken organs

I am making dinner and my chicken came with the heart, liver, and gizzard.
I know organ meats are good source of nutients - question is:

are they tooooo rich to feed The Girls?

how much should I give them at one meal?

how long should I microwave them so dont distroy all the good stuff ?

The jury is out on this one. But i will find out as part of my article on what's best to feed a dog.
Some people I have spoken to only a few days ago swear by the raw chicken carcasses that they give their precious dogs. The bones are not hard or sharp when uncooked. Then there are those who say all game animals , all birds (including chickens), all pork, all offal should be given to dogs after cooking (boiling). A lot of these kinds of meat definitely lose some to a lot of value for a dog when cooked.
Until I get a grip on the question re my article, I would boil (not over boil) the portions of the chicken you will give your Corgi. Corgis love chicken and it is very good for them. I don't think the liver etc parts are as good as the flesh . Quite frankly, when kibble (dry food) producers say there is chicken in the kibble - it is probably the 'poorer' parts of the chicken.
I often give Taylor sheep or ox or cattle hearts after boiling them for two minutes and refrigerating what is not given for an immediate meal. Taylor loves them and they are excellent for dogs - especially the very lean ox and cattle hearts. They say that the best meat of all for dogs is tripe. And I occasionally buy tripe to add to Taylor's meal. Again I lightly boil the tripe.

And they'll love you for it!!!! I use "parts" to make chicken broth and then chop the gizzards, heart, livers and sprinkle over the dogs food. They love the treat!
