OK Deb - Curiosity killed the cat - I just needed to know what you were talking about so I googled. Read two sentences and that was enough for me. That is not in our dog food I hope. Please tell me it isn't.

It can be and even in AAFCO approved foods.

It's certainly not in mine, thank god lol... If you are feeding a super high quality food (something that, in my mind, Science Diet, IAMS, Eukanuba, and all that grocery store garbage do not qualify as), and you just read the labels carefully, you will not end up with rats, dogs, cats, etc. in your pet's food. If all meats an animal products in a food are specified, then there aren't any rendered pets in the food. >^^;<
