Bad News for Beneful

This is probably the first dog forum I went to when Katie passed away searching for some answers. This was before I found out about corgie.com. I saw there today someting of interest that may benefit someone who has their dog on Beneful.

First things first, Beneful is terrible dog food, wheat and corn and sugar and fillers, just not good food. The comercial makes it looks sooo healthy but it is not quality food.
Secondly, mold can be on any dry food - people should make sure to check their dog food each time they go to feed it.. if it smells different or has a different color that is normal, it would be better to throw it away than to risk feeding it to your dog.

Wasn't there also another brand that had a corn mold in their product that caused several dogs to die a few years ago? I can't quite remember the details....

Mold, huh? I don't use beneful dry food but it's good to know it could happen to any dry food.
