Here are just some of the international producers of junior specific food though some are classified as suitable for both puppies and juniors ie one month to 18 months or thereabouts:
Acana
Eukanuba
Bohemia Safari
Happy Dog
Barker's
Beta
Natures Menu
Royal Canin
Bosch
Pedigree

These may be offered by you, but there are no "junior foods" here.

Somehow my post from yesterday seems to have been deleted

Royal Canin does produce "junior" food... but not in the USA... yes it is produced internationally, no it isn't sold in every country.

Welcome to Royal Canin Website.

The word junior depends on it's context between dog food companies. Junior could be switched for 'puppy' or 'medium size' also. Junior food could just mean the word 'junior' that is written on the bag.

When selecting something to feed your dog, it would obviously give you more information to look at the ingredients list on the back rather than whatever is printed on the front of the bag.

Michael said that Junior Food were for dogs after 1 year of age, up until 18 months or 2 years of age.

The dog foods here in the US that offer food for "medium size dogs" are for dogs that will weigh a certain amount as an adult. I figured Michael was talking about "Junior Foods" that were available to him in New Zealand and other Countries, but they are not sold here. He made it sound as if these foods were offered everywhere and that we can go to our local market and find them, which we can't.

And I agree, I pay way more attention to the ingredients listed.

What I find interesting is that reactions to an inflammatory post were deleted . . . .
. . . yet the inflammatory post that garnered those reactions was not.

Crud, I figured something was deleted, as I didn't log on until last night, and couldn't find the post (Cheryl's) that everyone was refering too. Too bad, since this is such an important topic (nutrition of our corgis.)

Neither of my dogs east a Senior food. What they have been eating for many years has kept them healthy and our Vet agrees that they should continue to eat what works for them.

*** I know that being a Canadian I am not in the majority here, but our ties in the topics that we discuss here are so close with the United States that I distinguish very little differences. I do find it an oddity though that this board's obviouly main membership is ment to feel 'odd man out" when the things that are normal to us here in North America are argued with and perceived strange & wrong, by a member from another part of the world.

***I am finding it harder and harder to follow the Topics of GoCorgi when so any posts are being deleted by the moderator. Obviously, the members posting in these topics are not aware, until they disappear.

If the posts are not be be kept coherent, then what is the point of having the board to read them?

If there are to be arbitrary deletions, then what is the point of having the board to post on?

Edited for typos only.

The one line statement posted that evoked so much emotion seemed like a frustrated reflection of what a good portion of the international community feels right now with the US government itself. If you don't believe this opinion, take a trip to Australia, New Zealand or the UK and ask some of the residents.

It is difficult to convince people from other countries that the people from the US are on the whole not over opinionated, egocentric, obnoxious, "might is right" people. That they actually and truely are some of the most sophisticated, big hearted, caring, intelligent and noble peoples in the world.

I am far from advocating what was said, but I seriously doubt that the comment was aimed at the actual troops of the US armed forces. The person that wrote the comment has troops, that his own government sent from his own country, standing side by side with the US armed forces.

If the comment was not meant to offend, it should at the very least be clarified in a respectful context. Deleting posts only inflames the situation. If the comment was meant to offend and be left undeleted, the people who spoke up were more than right to post what they did and have it uncensored.

I don't agree with posts being deleted. Everyone has the right to express their own opinion, whether people agree or not!
