Protein

Ok so I am lazy I tried a search for the answer to this question and there is so many threads and posts on protein, it would take me two days to find my answer when I know one of my many corgi friends will have the answer immediately so here goes and take pity on me. Yes I am sucking up. Anyway, what should be the highest content of protein in the food I am feeding Chip and Dale? I just bought a bag of adult Natures Recipe Farm Stand Select for the adults and a small bag of puppy food for Mr. Dale. The farm stand select has pieces of apple, blueberries, peas in it and they both love it but both have 25 percent protein and is this too much? I mix Dale's puppy and adult together so he gets some of both and then he freeloads off Chip and Lady

25% will be fine Bonnie. 28% is about as high as I like for puppies. Getting into 30% and higher - much too "hot" for my comfort.

Thank you Deb - your approval is 100 percent for me. I was surprised and confused because both adult and puppy had the same amount. You are greatly appreciated.

Good to know ladies! I just myself switched Ponzo over to Farm Stand Selects...He loves the pieces of carrots and cranberries!

How do the labels compare otherwise - ingredients and fat % and such?
