My 2 years old corgi like to chew, i give him spare ribs to chew, web as below, is pettreats from new zealand

Are they safe ? he enjoys very much, finish one spare rib within 5 mintues.

Safe? Good? Don't know. If you can buy them in New Zealand, they are well hidden away. I think it is one of those kinds of things that capitalise on the clean. green NZ image and are in fact a foreign (to NZ)-produced item with or without any NZ content.

We have tested all our treats and here are the results. The tests were done by the New Zealand Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (MAF), the governing body for all meat products manufactured and consumed in and exported from New Zealand.
This would be a fairly stiff claim if it were not kosher. Just because you can't buy them in NZ doesn't mean that they aren't the real thing. There are a lot of overseas products that have NZ content that we simply can't buy here. Remember too, that all our best meat for human consumption goes to the overseas market. We basically get the left-overs.
