Archiving Messages

I tried that yesterday, Barbara, making another folder other than the Sent/Inbox folders and put several messages in that folder but, it didn't subtract from the total I had like I thought it would. I still had the same total doing it that way. I would have thought it would be less and even though the Sent/Inbox showed less, the total was still the same...go figure.

Maybe I'll try the last method you recommended after my TV dinner. Thanks for those recommendations.

Yep, you're right, no matter how many folders you have, the total stays at 50.

Seems a bit counter-productive to continually state how many PM's you have if you can not help others get that many as well.

Wow, I have been trying to think better of you Michael with all that's been going on, but now I can't. To infer that I have been sending you messages is lying. I don't understand what has changed here and why all your posts have been so negative or written to illicit responses. You must have felt pretty sure I'd respond as you know I haven't sent you any messages of late.

If the "report bad posts" link goes to you then - mmm, yes I have reported spam posts, as there is no moderator here during the North American daylight hours when the majority of members are on.

Ditto to you and yours. You're the mod, you are supposed to maintain some sort of professionalism and distance. Not create, involve yourself and exacerbate issues.

Michael, I completely understand that when YOU get to 50 pm's more space magically appears; however, the case is not the same for the rest of us. You telling how many pm's you can keep does absolutely nothing to help solve the problem of how Col Colt can keep more.

Deb, I say you have been very nice in doing this even though you don't have to. Why not leave the spam ones on from now on and we can all start posting to them - that way, more postings, higher numbers.
