The Shout box is gone Bonnie - no one was really using it. It may have been better to have had organized chats scheduled on a regular basis - maybe more folks would have used it. It was also confusing as no one knew which time zone it was in.

I agree that chats are a great way to get to know people better and to really work through an idea or problem together.

ColColt: Re your original question about archiving PMs.
One way to do it is to look in your inbox on GoCorgi, scroll down a little to where it says "Download all Private Messages as:" Directly below that, there are three options to choose from: XML, CSV and text. Clicking the text option will allow you to keep your PMs on your own hard-drive as a file which will be able to open using Notepad. You can even change these to Word docs if you want.

I had almost forgot about this thread. Looks like some good solutions-thanks a bunch. I'll try to decide which way is best to go.
