Thank you. We are quite fond of her. Her nickname is "goofball" because she is constantly surprising us with her playfulness. She has so much energy that we've been taking her to daycare several days a week. Needless to say she's a big hit with the other dogs. The other parents always want to know when Finley is going to be there.

I have seen them in other places and have been told by others that they are copyrighted to just this site. Is this correct? If not, can these pwc smilies be used in other corgi websites? Can we use them in our signatures for our regular emails? Just want to make sure I cover all my bases here. Don't want to use something that I don't have permission for.

The individual who first passed them along to other forums, took them and then stated she hoped it was okay. That is neither good netiquette nor very respectful of someone's intellectual or creative property. Until Stephen grants permission to those whom have asked, then <IMHO> it is just bad form to continue passing them along. I know some individuals if this kind of theft had been done to them would be pursuing legal recourse now. As I see it, Stephen created them for us to use on this site and until he says otherwise, then I think that should be respected.

I'll state it for the record. You may use the smilies (in other forums, post in emails, alter them, etc.). However, if you are using them on another website, all I ask is that you add a link back to this site. The smilies are indeed cute and it would not be fair to the rest of the corgi lovers out there to keep it exclusive to this site.

I am still waiting for the batch of tri-colored smilies. Soon.
