I made no statement in this thread(in my posts), attempting to discredit Michael's ability to Moderate and please do not insinuate that I did.

We were asking questions regarding the different time zones, and that another moderator may help with that. That was all. And I am disrespecting you by asking you this????? - are we not adults?

And my suggesting Barbara, was just that, a suggestion. The choice of another moderator is your decision, and I am fine with that.

In all sincerity, why did you create this site? Generally someone who creates a board or list has a vested interest of some sort. Mostly what we have gotten from the Super Moderator is about bells and whistle features and a fixation on numbers - members, and site hits. Nothing about the breeds it exists for or what is in their best interest.

I'm one of those who have only read the site as a guest. At first I was excited to find what seemed to be a great corgi board and was eager to participate. But as I read some of the comments posted by the Super Moderator guy, I quickly changed my mind and became afraid to post anything. I have learned a lot and enjoyed the posts of some of the other members though. I'm on a few other corgi lists. The list owners never treat anyone with the disrespect he extends to list members and they don't allow anyone else to either.

From the silent majority,
H R

Well I don't know why you all bug Stephen so much. It appears to me he has no intention of truly communicating with members, so perhaps he's a politician! Whatever, though, I see no reason to beg a control freak for anything - he obviously enjoys his anonymity, so why bother him? If you don't care to be treated rudely and with disrespect, then don't initiate communication. If I've pissed anyone off, so be it - I say what I think and I have been truly appalled by the responses members have received from Stephen. And the members continue to be polite and respectful to him - this is crazy!!

When we reach 500 members - which will not be long now - the Go Corgi administrator will "paint" a picture for members of just how Go Corgi works, who is its parent body, who owns it, other components of the total organisation, financial aspects etc.

Stephen is not the only administrator of Go Corgi. I doubt very much if any of the Go Corgi administrators have ever owned a Corgi. It is not the point of their involvement.

And this is not said with sarcasim, I am still wondering what the point of their involvement is.

Stephen, under your avatar, it lists your dog's profile.
Yes, I own a Corgi. An Admin's job on a forum is just like any other admin job: supervise and keep things running. I keep the server up, upgrade the software when necessary, add features to the forum software, etc. And since I founded the site, I additionally have to market and promote the site and pay the bills.

And now the name calling. This is getting out of hand.

CeCe,
Control freak? Rude responses? Disrepectful treatment? Show me.

" A Pembroke Corgi" : "When we are born...our ears are down...our tails are docked & we wear no frown. As we mature...the ears come up...our personality develops...no more a pup. When we chew our bone...the legs come out...and the "Flying Squirrel" lies alone. A corgi is a wonderful breed...much LOVE from owner to Canine...is received."
