What do you think of these?

Re photos attached - they are two neices of my Pem, Taylor.
Taylor's litter sister, Gypsey lives in Canada at the Raglan Kennels and these two lovlies are daughters of hers at 16 months of age. The red & white is Chubbin who looks a lot like Taylor and the other , the tri, is Magic.

They are both lovely pups. I am partial to the red and white but both are really beautiful examples of the breed. I wish you would post some photos of Taylor though- come on michael, get on it LOL!!!

This is the kennel that I was on the list to get a pup in November before we ended up getting Jemma. It would have been from Gypsey - when I was in touch with Shelley a couple of weeks ago there was one pup still available.

I love looking at other Pems! I am biased to the red and white one more of course. Michael, where's Taylor's pictures? =)

Beautiful dogs, Michael, especially Chubbin (but I tend to favor reds/sables).
They both have such sweet faces!

It's funny, but I asked a top NZ breeder and Corgi/working dog group conformation judge, living in Australia, to give a kind of critique of the two girls - which I passed onto Shelley at Raglan Kennels - and the breeder/judge favoured Magic, the tri, at this stage - though both have some develloping still to do - even for her looks (expression). But I've always been a red and white person in preference to other colours.

I'm going to enter Taylor in the Go Corgi photo competition. I hope all of you are going to enter your Corgis as well.

My "eye" still has it! I agree with the judge. From a conformation stand point strictly, Magic is my choice. Better put together I think and overall nicer.

Deb,

Could you tell me why Majic would be favored over Chubbin - point out the differences and why Majic is put together better

Thanks

Well, I could tell you, but I didn't want to put up these two photos for a general discussion on their suitability for conformation shows (even though that has not been mentioned, the implications are there) - it would be unfair on the breeder/owner. Suffice to say is that photos can lie. For example, the way a dog stands may falsely draw out a conclusion. Both Corgis are shy of being fully developed.
