Naughty Corgi!
I'm often proud to say that Milo is well behaved and doesn't get into things....well. Sunday morning I wake up and head into the bathroom and what do I see? A HUGE neat compact pile of white fluffy looking stuff. I immediately looked at the toilet paper, it was on the roll and intact. So what was it? Well, it was a brand new bag of 28 Kotex pads neatly shredded to bits and Milo sitting beside his handiwork looking mighty proud. I told him he was a naughty Corgi and he just sat there with that Corgi smile. Since he had done the deed there was no point in yelling. I had to admit I was impressed that this pile was very tidy, he didn't spread it all over. Needless to say my first worry was how much did he injest?? I kept an eye on him and he did poop Kotex bits for a day. Other than that he was none worse for the wear. I learned my lesson and will make sure I put items away after I come home from the grocery store! No letting stuff sit out...not in Corgi reach at any rate.

I love my little Chip and he is pawsitively perfect but he is a thief.
Not only does he steal items, but he scoots under the bed with his loot so he knows he is doing wrong. We have started keeping everything out of reach. He took my glasses one day - thankfully he didn't chew them only hid them under the bed.

Thank goodness he didn't eat your glasses! Milo isn't above stealing, i've caught him snatching socks and underwear from a freshly folded laundry pile. He hides them under his bed. I find them when I vaccuum. He also takes the cat toys and puts them under his bed. He can't reach the dining table but he can reach the coffee table so I have to keep that pretty clear too. Corgis are sooooo clever, cute, comical and sweet, how can you get mad at them?

That is one funny story! I sure needed a laugh today! Thanks! My Zia likes to chew the toilet paper. She grabbed the toilet paper the other day and took off running. Thank goodness there was only about a foot of toilet paper on the roll. I was trying to teach Zia to fetch the other day, and Zip (the Cocker) would grab the toy, run out the doggie door, drop the toy, and run back in! We did this about 5 times before I just gave up! |

Toilet paper is my cat's obsession. Her name is Tiramisu. Milo also likes to make a game out of grabbing panty hose as i'm trying to get them on. He grabs the unoccupied leg and runs with it pulling me along. It got so bad I had to shut him out of the room to put them on. Otherwise he just sat there and waited until he got the chance to dash in and grab a leg and run like the wind! He is a prankster!

Oh Milosmum...sorry to hear about the kotex incident.
I have only had 1 incident with Buta, I just came back from Japan & bought this really pretty Monster's Inc handphone pouch from Disney land Tokyo. I hung it on my bag & usually leave my bag on the floor. The next morning while I was getting ready to leave the house, I saw buta lying infront of my bag (bunny butt facing me) happily chewing away.... just after 1 day, I have only half a pouch left she removed the head, arms of the doll & the cover of the pouch

I teach first grade. The other night I had some of my students' papers in a bag. Zia got ahold of the bag and chewed up one of the papers. You always hear of kids saying "my dog ate my homework," but how many teachers tell the students "sorry, my dog at YOUR homework." We all got a kick out of that. I've had to start letting Zia out when I put on lotion because she will attack my legs trying to lick the lotion. She also tries to lick my lips when I've put Carmex on. Crazy dog! One of the reasons we call her "Psycho Sally."

Oh, my goodness...that is so funny about the Kotex...And love how "proud" Milo was of himself.
![]() The worst thing Rhys has chewed up are a couple of corners of library books (as a graduate student I always have library books around - and I have a habit of leaving them on the floor). Thankfully, I have not been fined or anything (none of the damage was that severe) and, since Andy's arrival, toys have been the things to fight over. Although, he and Andy both chewed the fabric bookmark (one of those that attached to the book) off one of my assigned novels for school about a week ago (thank goodness it was my book). Oh, tonight - rather than have it taken away from him - Rhys inhaled and SWALLOWED a WHOLE dirty kleenex. He sucked it down, literally. I've never seen such a thing! I thought he was going to choke but it didn't even phase him. Well, at least it should come out in the *chuckle* end... |

This is such a funny thread, I vote that we keep it going and always add the daily funny items that happen, sort of a running diary for the group.
As for Miss Gambler, I have been giving her orange juice since she was a puppy, because she likes it and because the vet says that it happens to be good for her, so she is well used to the flavor and smell. I drink orange juice every morning, and just yesterday I had a cup on the table beside my chair in the living room and left it for one reason or another, came back into the room and sat down picked up the cup(short juice size) and there wasn't much left in the cup. I immediately looked at Miss Gambler, sitting on the sofa and I swear she was grinning ear to ear, and I could tell she was thinking, "deny, deny, deny", then she burped! Busted!!! I also now have to wonder, just how many times has she sipped out of my cup without me knowing?!?!?!? |

Funny post milosmom! I can relate, as I imagine many others can. My pem figured out how to get underneath a leather flap in the back of my reclining chair and remove hunks of white stuffing—bit-by-bit—from the chair into little piles.

Tex has a pen in the kitchen that she plays in while my husband and I are at work. The kitchen is Vinyl tile, so I figure that there wouldn't be much she could do to it.
Come home and she had taken a chunk out of one of the tile, with the pieces spit about the pen. "FREELANCER TEX!" She belly flops OVER where she chewed and looked up at me like "What?? I don't see anything!" You can't help but to crack up. |

Jemma loves the empty card board tubes from toilet paper and paper towel rolls. She gets into the recycling bin and has them torn apart all over the apartment. She also loves my socks and like Milosmon, I am putting them on as she is pulling them off. She runs through the place and tosses them in the air and catches them.
Rupert made a game of taking my mitt or glove when we come into the building and he carries it up all 3 flights where once we get to our floor I have to throw it for him to catch and bring back. Jem has learned this game now, so as soon as we are in the building they stop to see if I'm wearing gloves or mitts and then they compete and run upstaris with each of them carrying one. I tell them to take them home and they take them to our door and Rupe puts his on my shoe rack and then we spend 5 minutes trying to catch the little devil Jemma to give hers back!

Milo loves to chew on tissues and napkins too. I don't know why but a lot of dogs I have seen loves to chew on tissues and papers. I have seen Milo destroy some before. Once we say his name, he stops and knows it was wrong.
