Resource Guarding
Is it possible for one dog to view one or two other dogs as their possession kind of like resource guarding? If so, could this escalate? How do you correct it?
When I am playing with Chip or calling him to come to me, Maybelle tries to distract him to focus on her or if I am petting Jasmine, she will do the same thing.

Could you be the resource she's gaurding- rather than the dogs?
I guess it could happen that she is possesive of the other dogs, but it is more common to be possesive of the people. Does she play with Chip and Jasmine alot? How does she act towards them? Friendly? Bossy?

Chip is her security blanket so to speak. We found Maybelle in a field when she was a small pup. She was scared to death and non socialized. She is now in obedience class, spayed, and doing some better. She is very attached to Chip.

Sounds like they have formed a very tight pack, and look to each other for answers and guidance.
