Meeting Friends
I do HVAC service and sells in Dallas & Fort Worth ,Texas..
Here I am just getting ready to go into a customers house to check there furnace , and I spot a brown and white corgi walking down the street with owners in tow. I greet them and most of all I get to meet Jasper. He is 4 year old tan and white pembroke welsh corgi. We talk only for a minute as I need to get back to work . But, isn't it funny that all corgi owners are just smiling and happy when they meet another owner. I told them about Fort Worth (Woof ) park and say maybe Jasper could meet Cooper one Sunday.. Well, looks like Sunday we are going there to meet with the owners and let our Corgi"s meet.Cooper ~ Jasper Jasper ~ Cooper

I actually believe that it is more an American thing for Corgi people to so enthusiastically embrace other Corgi people the way it is done in the USA. It may also be a done thing in countries where there are precious few Corgis - just because of the rareity.
But good for you to set up a social meeting for the Corgis and the humans who tag along. A couple of rules I know about concerning the meeting of Corgis - it is best if they are off-leash because there is less likely to be any serious fighting without any tension vibes coming through the leashes; and don't make any physical fuss too quickly or readily of the other person's Corgi in close proximity to your own in case of any protective and/or jealous aspects. |
