Sad News
Hi all -
I just found out from my mom that they had to have the other family border collie Kate (who would have been 15 in January) to sleep yesterday.  My mom didn't want to tell me, but she thought I would be even more upset if she didn't.She was a good girl, Kate was - she was the sweetest thing. Here is her Dogster page - http://www.dogster.com/pet_page.php?i=303702&j=t I don't know if anyone remembers, but the other border collie Bandit had to be put to sleep in late September. So it's been a sad year, but it was balanced by having two beautiful Corgis becoming part of the family, at least.  Run, run at the bridge, Kate - you show those angel sheep who's boss.

oh I am so sorry for your loss. It is so hard when they are called back home, but it makes it even more difficult when it happens around the holidays. I am sure that Kate has been greeted by bandit at the rainbow bridge- she is young again, healthy and running free at the bridge with all her new angel friends. Sending my condolences to your mom and you for your family's loss.

Tana,

Oh Tana, so sorry to hear of the loss of Kate too. Some years seem to be worse for losses and this has been a sad year for so many folks I know. I went to a craft show today and one of the paintings there was a rendering of the Rainbow Bridge. I'm sure the Border Collies in it were Bandit and Katie.
