My fiance was walking at lunch a few weeks ago and ran into a man with two pems. He seemed very mad at the little corgis. He explained that while walking past a man eating on a bench, one of the dogs jumped up and grabbed the man's sandwich.
I wasn't too surprised. |

That is hilarious! Sounds like something a food-oriented Corgi would do!! ChloeLouise was in 7th heaven over the holidays when we had a house-full! Someone was always letting their guard down and she was the benificiary!!
My son called the other day - he was driving along and spotted a young R/W Pem out for a walk...I asked why he didn't stop and chat with the owner - how silly, he said it was a busy street and he couldn't pull over! By the way, Linda (Corgimom), there must be A LOT of Corgis in Madison because my son has called MANY times to report "Corgi sightings"!!

When Taylor was a puppy he did that to several little kids at various times when he was walking past them and they had just come out of a shop with their parent or whatever and had lollies or suckers or icecreams in their little hands, Taylor would swoop in.

Over the holiday while at my Mom's in Virginia Beach, we were coming home from somewhere and as we pulled into the driveway, I spotted a Pem. I told my husband to stop and I jumped out and went down the road to check up with the lady walking the Pem. I asked if the dog was a corgi and she said yes, I told her that I had a BAHT at home (we could not bring Maxi with this time). The Pem came running across the road to me and the lady said she (the Pem) must know that you are a corgi lover. Her name was Latasha, and she came right up to me and let me scoop her up and I got to hold her for several minutes, she was not quite a year. The lady that was walking her was not her owner, but borrowed her for walks, because the owners we unable to get our and walk her. She was so sweet and made me miss my Maxi even more. The lady (funny I do not remember her name but remember the Pem's name) said that there was another Pem living in the neighborhood so the next time I go to my mom's I will have to go for a Corgi hunt walk to fine the other Corgi in the neighborhood.
