I don't think Chip put in a good word for me with Santa but I do think Santa wanted to keep Chip. He wouldn't let go of him and the ladies just kept snapping pics. I ended up with 4 plus the ones my husband took. They will be great in his scrapbook. We did have a real good time and Chip loved Santa too. I think he asked for his very own real pacifier for Christmas and lots of cookies.

Stumpy
I would think so. Others on here are going to take their corgis to Petsmart. You may want to stop by with your pup. They are scheduled for this weekend in different areas.

I was reading the information in the packet. I got an envelope with a paper frame and a padded picture frame. The frames were made/sized exactly for a polaroid shot that comes out w/ the Petsmart Logo on the bottom. The frame says "fundraiser" on it so they very wisely made these for marketing the Petsmart name.
When you think of it, more than 50% goes to the participating animal charity. That's a nice touch.
I try to buy my food and most of my pet supplies from a family run pet supply store because they are wondeful people, active w/ animal rescure groups, yet trying to stay in business with the PetSmarts and Petcos opening in the area. But I have to say, I am thrilled they added a Petsmart near us because for a large Chain, they do a lot with rescue groups too.
And of course.... on awful days I can pop my two in the car, head to Petsmart, and take a few laps around the store just to get them out of the house!

Susan:
I am going off topic and ask you how hard it is to take 2 with you? Do you take both to obedience class at the same time.

Bonnie,
I bought a Y lead that splits into two short leads (Petsmart) that I attach to both Girls collars and the other end hooks into my leash. It took them a few little walks not to tangle themselves up. Now they walk pretty much shoulder to shoulder when I need to take both and only have one set of hands.

We used to do that with Digger and Lady. It was so cute to see them walk together. You will have to post a picture.

The Petsmart near us had them this past weekend too and next weekend as well. We walked in ready for Intermediate Class and Ponzo just jumped right in the line for the Santa Pictures! I couldn't pull him away, so I had to turn around and pay for the picture package and get him ready for his 1st Santa encounter. Good lord, he could hardly contain himself. I got his harness off and he just darted for Santa and dove for his lap. Santa loved him and kept remarking at how friendly "the little guy" was. Ponzo didn't want to leave Santa and go see his friends in the training ring! I think when we go next week for class I am going to see if they will let me take digitals, since I was unprepared for pictures, keep my fingers crossed for that one. Had I have known pictures were in the future I would have insisted that he wear his Tartan Plaid holiday coat to class, not just his Christmas collar! He also has a green and red polo and red t-shirt for Christmas eve with a saying on it...Hit up Old Navy people, they are chock full of good stuff at cheap prices!
