Chip & Santa -
12-03-2006, 04:41 PM
Chip went to Petsmart and got his picture taken with Santa today. We had such a good time. I hope you all enjoy. People said they could hear us laughing half way across the store.

I got it on Ebay - doesn't it look like my little Chip a roo. We had the best time. They gave us 4 pics instead of the two we were supposed to get. Santa just wouldn't let go of Chip. And, Chip, the typical corgi, pulled his beard down and exposed Santa's mustache. (I thought that only happens in movies) The picture taking was to benefit homeless animals. Anyway, my husband took this one with his digital.

I'm banned from Ebay, long story, but during one of my bad bouts with insomnia last year, well, let's just say that I became a valued customer, but only for a short time, because my husband found out!!! Love the shirt, and it does resemble your Chip, and to think that the photo set-up was for charity, what a great idea. I'm a firm believer that our four legged friends get so much out of being included in our escapades, I try and include Miss Gambler whenever I can, now I guess that I'll be planning adventures for two once the vet gives Mojo the all-clear, after all her shots take.

Bonnie- That is such a cute photo...Chip is way too cute with his little belly exposed ( oh man, good thing that I wasn't there, I can not resist corgi bellies) and you look like you are having a blast...
Thanks for sharing, it put a smile on my face this morning.

Bonnie,
You look awfully naughty and full of spice in the picture! Is that why Chip was on Santa's lap and not you LOL

Chip and Santa!!!!! What a great photo! You too Bonnie!
Our Petsmart is having Pictures w/ Santa for the next 2 weekends and last weekend. I thought I'd go Sunday when they started at 11 am. So I took Tucker and Lulu. When we got there, santa was having a family photo of a Brittany Spaniel and kids. That dog sat perfectly with the happiest look on his face the whole time.
Of course when it's Tuck and Lu's turn they were more interested in the basket of treats than santa. Santa picked Lulu up, she sniffed his beard then settled in on his lap. We took the pictures (2) and then it was Tucker's turn. She was so comfortable on Santa's lap I had to pull her off!
Tucker was a different story. he wanted nothing to do w/ Santa but fortunately the dish of dog biscuits was right behind the photographer so he did look in her general direction!
I't $8.95 if you have a Petsmart card and $9.95 if you don't and $5 of it goes to the local Animal Shelter sponsoring it.
Lulu settling in on Santa's lap for a nap: Priceless!
