It's a toy you put food in and the dog tries to get it out. If you don't have one you might consider it. Here's a video of Bailey with his.

I gave the buster cube away. COuldn't stand the noise on my hard wood floors!

Should have kept it though! Every other (besides Kong toys) treat dispensing toy manages to get chewed to bits.

I don't have a cube, but I have a ball which works on the same principle. I originally bought to feed a VERY overweight girl, the idea being she could/would work for her meals. Well , she would run over once the ball stopped and the food fell out. I got a work out rolling the ball for her and she did move to get to the food. Once her weight was off and when the ball would come out later, she really played with it. She remembered food was supposed to come out of it when it rolled.

I don't have the Buster Cube, but I have this orange ball as shown on this link

http://www.omegapaw.com/TrickyTreatBall.html

Cody loves this and will push it around to try and get every last morsel out.
It is not a hard ball and not noisy like the Buster Cube. If it gets pushed into a corner, he easily picks it up with his mouth and brings it back out into an open spot and starts to push it around again.

What I loved about the video is Bailey didn't derail the train or try and eat it! Good Boy

The Girls don't have anything like that except for a little kong. I can see Chloe playing with the cube but Em would just lay there till a treat fell out and try and grab it b4 Chloe LOL

We got Dudley the ball that corgimom uses for Christmas. He had a hole chewed in it within the hour! My little destructo-king devours these pretty expensive toys pretty quickly!
Loved the video.

I am fortunate as Cody is not chewer and he only rolls the ball around when treats are in it, otherwise, he leaves it alone. It's not worth the effort if food is not going to fall out

When I first got the Buster Cube I let Bailey play with it for a few days in a row. Then I noticed he was trying to move his food dish with his nose so a treat would fall out. Now he gets the cube only once in a while.

Jackie got that orange ball for Christmas too (she also has the Buster Cube and the Amaze-A-Ball). And she has the same attitude as Cody - if there are no treats inside, it's just not worth it.

I had to laugh at what Bailey did because Checkers was the same way. After about one week with the buster cube he started trying to shove his food dish around to make food appear. Now he gets it on occasion (and when Justin isn't in the room to grab the food as it rolls out!). He does enjoy playing with it, but it is noisy, so not an everyday thing.

Man, I must be a total failure at keeping my dogs entertained!

They walk at least a mile morning and night, day care 2 days a week, Agility, Obedience class, play dates, they have a huge yard where they manage to redistrubute sticks from my burn pile every day, a creek they play in so they come in the house wet all the time, toys from one end of the yard to the other (I picked them up the other day and filled a shoe box!).

And yet they still manage to chew everything in sight.... hmmmmmm

Hoodlums!
