It seems other people know me better than I know myself. I had to call two of my children after we picked up the pup and when I told them, I got Dale - they both started laughing and knew exactly which one I was bringing home. Both said they knew it would be Dale. My husband also told me on the way home that he knew we would be bringing lil Dale home. Believe it or not but I did go without a clue which one would be coming home with us. Chip is already teaching him how to play tug of war and poor big Maybelle is trying to figure out how she can get down on his level to play with him. Everyone has accepted him real well and of course Pawsitively Perfect Chip is playing big brother to the max.

I have already broken the biggest rule of all. Last night at bedtime, Chip headed for bed and then turned back around and came out to get Dale and coaxed him in the bedroom. I followed them in to see what they were up to and Chip was on the bench at the foot of the bed looking down at Dale trying to get him to jump up on the bench so they could go to bed. I fixed Dale's little crate and put him in it, went to bed and turned out the lights. Chip left the bed in a huff and went under the bed. The next thing I hear is little whining noises. I turned on the light and there is Chip sitting by the crate and Dale whining. We hadn't been to bed in 20 hours so I did the only thing a good corgi mom could do. Opened the crate, plopped Dale in bed with me - Chip got up on the bed - found his normal sleeping spot and we all went sound asleep. Other than outside during the night for two potty breaks - we did well. Oh Dale's favorite toy is also Chip's favorite toy - the little ty mouse Chip got for Christmas and Chip even is sharing it. What a guy.
