A sad Corgi

Okay so it has been a few weeks since Montana's daddy has been gone. I have noticed that she is not as perky as she used to be. She is all happy and excited to see me when I get home of course, but after that she doesn't run around and play like she used to and she getting to be kinda dull. I'm sure she is just upset and what not, but does anyone know how I can get her personality back.

{{{Stacy}}}

Dogs are very good at picking up our emotions. It could be she is picking up on your feeling and reflecting them back... give both of you a little time to get used to the changes in your life.

Poor Montana. I agree with T-Gal, I think she's picking up on your emotions. I wish you all of the best. I can't imagine how you guys feel.

Quality time is as good as quantity time. Spend a few minutes a day doing something she really loves. Like fetch with the ball inside, or snugglin!

I agree! And maybe a few special outings - to the park or the pet store? Something fun to break out of the rut and get you both having fun together. Best of luck to both of you.
