Bailey's expressions are priceless. Each one tells a story.

It looks like it will take a bit of time for Bailey and Pixie to become friends. Perhaps if you explained to them that a tri-colored corgi and a calico cat have the same colors in common, they could start at that point.

Queen Isabella, our house cat, uses language when talking to Redhead that no lady would consider. I hope Pixie does not say the same things to Bailey. It is difficult for any self-respecting corgi to listen to such abuse, but Redhead has remained a gentleman.

Those are great pictures, especially the middle one. I think the cat may be telling Bailey that the sofa is now hers and that Bailey needs to get Off.

Those photos are great... having corgi and kitties together can make for some real excitement...in my house anyway...i have one cat that likes to flirt with Dillon and get him to chase her and the other hates to be chased and is lacking in the brains department ( i love her dearly but she is not the brightest bulb for sure) and never seems to figure out that all she has to do is climb into one of the two large cat trees in my home...or jump on a table ...so he corners her and pokes her with his nose and she just lays there...I think she is trying to play dead but Dillon is too smart for that..He will eventually let her slink off...so sad!

I hope that Bailey and pixie get to be fast friends.

Oh Emilie that is a sad story. Poor kitty. I bet Dillon loves it though.

My cats (5 of them) and the 2 dogs get along great. Our crazy cat Tucker, a tuxedo, adores the dogs and drives poor Rupe nuts with snugglin and love!

When the dogs were at the sitters the week I was away, poor Tuck must have really missed them as he wouldn't leave Rupert alone for 2 days when he got back. Tucker also is happy to take a turn at FRAPPING with Jemma when Rupe is to pooped to FRAP.

The is Tucker shmooshing himeslf into Rupe!

I love the pics... Pixie is giving Bailey "THE Look" that my cat Raisin gives The Girls when he doesn't want to be bothered. Sometimes he has to flip his ears back and down to show them he really means it!

Deb that picture is so sweet. My golden Tawney had a cat sister Sam who loved her so! Sam would lay on Tawney and give her back rubs and they snuggled all the time for 14 years... sadly only a week after Tawney passed so did Sam. I think she grieved herself to death. Now they are buried side by side.

Am I not just the Ray of Sunshine!

Deb,

I love that picture of Tucker snuggling up against Rubert - it looks like Rupert doesn't quite know what to think about it.

Deb, that is a touching story about Tawny and Sam.

Here is a picture of my cat Ernie - this just started recently, but he seems to want to take over Cody's crate and Cody is not sure what to think about it or how to get him out. The picture is not really clear as I quickly grabbed my camera this morning to snap this.

OH my goodness, Deb, Tucker melts my heart- that is such a cute photo and the best is for those of us who really know cats can see that Tucker is just doing the lovey dovey snuggle...awwww!

Tawny and sam must have had a very special relationship... Clinton and Misty had been togehter for 12 yrs and when Clinton passed away Jan '05, misty mourned for him for over 7 months- she would cry while carrying around Clinton's favorite toy.. It was heart breaking... When she passed in December my comfort was knowing that she was at the rainbow bridge with clinton . I am sure they are together...

Linda,
that photo is so cute, Cody looks positively perplexed...and Ernie looks oh so comfortable! too cute!

I don't have a cat but the puppy sitter has two. Tucker will chase the tabby when the tabby is in the mood, the other cat is afraid of dogs.... except for lulu! Apparently on Fridays (and only Fridays!) during the afternoon nap, the gray kittie will sneak up to Lulu, wake her up, then the two of them sniff each other and stare at each other.

"leave the kitty" is a big thing at the puppy sitter but there are times when the kitties want in on the fun.

So far so good. One male dog, three female cats. Pixie is also thinking about getting inside Bailey's house. (The Plastic house was half the Price of a Crate.)

Zia hasn't been around any cats. Zip spent 7 years with 3 cats. One (Fabian -a psycho Siamese) died in March 05, and then my other two, Kallie (a calico) died on July 13, 2006, and then Frosty (a tiger stripped) died on July 17, 2006. I'm sure that Frosty mourned himself to death, too. They are all buried side by side in my back flowerbed. I love all of these pictures!

Sorry to hear about the cats.
Today is the first day that one of the new cats has had the whole house to explore, and share with Bailey, and the 14 year old cat that has been here all along. It looks promising. It would be good if they end up keeping each other company. I took these today.
