How is your Cocker by the way, were you able to have her checked for possible bladder stones or a urinary infection when she was at the vet this last time? You should post a picture of her, my sister in law used to Breed Cocker Spaniels

Ok I have one on the Computer. Some where, she is fine, the vet sadi he thought she might have an ear infection, she has had ear problem since she was a puppy. He didn't say there was anything wrong with her bladder. I don't know what to make of it. I still love her so dearly. I am making sure she gets all the tlc I can give her. She is still my first baby girl. LOL a little sruborn, but I still madly love her.

Like with human babies, dates are not exact. A due date is a due date, they can go a few days either way.

I have a question, I haven't gotten an e-mail back from Yvette and I was wondering if you guys knew if it might be because she is busy with Butterbean with the puppies and all? I can imagine she has alot on her hands.
Or she could be at shows, or just busy. If you don't hear from her in a few days try again.

Peggy

That depends on if you register her or not. Most breeders ask that you use the kennel prefix. Talk with the breeder about the name. Some have suggestions or a theme they want to use with the litter. Some don't care.

Some will name the puppies themselves. I name and register all my puppies myself.

Well, I just got an e-mail from Yvette. Sadly Butterbean won't be having Puppies(Starts to pout). The good news is she bred another female on Febuary 3rd so I am just going to keep waiting. Atleast thats what I told her. Also she gave me another breeders name who might be having puppies in March, so I contacted her just in case. But if those two dogs don't get pragnant. Lori is breeding in March and I will be waiting to Augest, which is fine with me. Anyways just thought I would update you on this, sorry to get you guys so excited. I promise there will be a puppy. I have done quit a bit of research to find breeders. I am not giving up, even if it takes me five years, it will still be worth it(gets on knees and prays to god, please don't make it take five year, I am ready to explode any minute).

If it is going to be a pet only and neutered/spayed do you still name, or do the owners just change the name to what they want after getting the dog?

My past dog was pet only and spayed but she was still registered with our chosen name and the kennels of course. Is it the norm to register pet only?

I'm just wondering if we are jumping the gun by choosing a male and female name ahead of time when we don't even know if any cardigan's are pregnant yet?

Thanks.

Merrie
