Libby Libby I know you are down there someplace. Where are you?

Abby here I am. I am not under there. I was playing with the big dogs.

Oh good I thought I was going to have to move all this snow to find you.

Found her you can call off the dogs now. Oh can I get something to get all this cold stuff off?

This is what happends with the snow flies around here.

Hope you all enjoy our play time.

Heidi

Hi, Very nice pictures and narration. They look like they are enjoying themselves. Some years when we have snow cover for extended periods, the mice make trails under the snow. It is much fun to watch the Corgis run to a spot and place their ear down on the snow, listen, and then run to another spot to check for mouse sounds. They really begin to dig when they hear their prey. They will stay busy hunting the whole time we are checking sheep.

We have had a tiny, wee bit of snow here once since Clogs arrived, so she has never seen snow that deep.
Lovely pix of the 2 enjoying it>

red-head -

off topic but my Son was telling funny mouse story... when he pulled into his apartment parking lot after a pretty good snow last week he saw two cats stalking something... when he walked over there was a little house mouse standing on it's back feet in a Kung Fu stance ready to do battle with the cats! Son is tender hearted - he trapped the mouse in his lunch bag, took it inside to a little cage he and Leah had. gave it a shot glass of water and some cat food and a toilet paper roll to sleep in. Next day he and Leah took it outside and let the little guy go...

his Brother the Hunter would have let the battle play out on the parking lot... totally different personalities...
