Brothers...
I couldn't get the gallery to work for me today, but I wanted to share some of these shots I got last night of my cuddly boys. I think they like each other.
Gator, in particular, likes to snuggle up close with Checkers... I think most of the time Checkers just tolerates it more than anything. Still makes for a cute picture though.![]()

Thanks for the compliments guys. I'm sure happy with how well they are getting along, and it does warm the heart when they cuddle up all sweet like that. Don't get me wrong though, even as well as they are doing together it isn't always peachy king. Every once in a while their play will get a little too rough (though always easy to break up with just a quick verbal correction)... and I make extra sure when their favorite chew bones are out that one of them is either kenneled, or on the back porch with theirs. Other than that though... I have to watch their "frapping" around Justin just because they could accidentally run him over and not even know it (hasn't happened yet). Regardless... it is definitely worth it... especially when Gator and Justin start playing together... Gator is SO patient. I make sure Justin doesn't ever get too grabby, or hurt him.. and Gator is willing to put up with anything from his little boy. Checkers is sweet with Justin also, but tends to walk away instead of just sitting there (a reaction I am perfectly happy with as well!). Often when I put Justin down for naps during the day one or both of my corgiboys will go and sleep by his bedroom door. I have to say... I would love to get a little more training on them both, and hope as the weather improves I can figure out a way to get that done, but otherwise I am very happy with this arrangement. I really feel like I'll have two very happy boys for a very long time and nothing could make me happier.

Cheryl - your Corgis react the way I would expect if Taylor had a male Corgi companion - which he may have in two years time with the advent of a puppy - and their guarding of your little son is just what Corgis do within a family environment. Taylor does that often to all my three kids - only he no longer sleeps in my daughter's or eldest son's rooms because they won't let him in.

The look on Checkers' face says: It's tough being the Big Brother.
Sweet pics Cheryl!
