I love Frito feet!

LOL! Awesome! :>

I agree with the Frito comparison! I'm on another Corgi board and someone suggested that their Corgi's tootsies smelled like Fritos. It totally clicked with me as to that being that particular odor that Ein's paws have.

So because of this we call his feet Frito feet! And I personally don't mind the smell. I love my Einstein so much and the Frito feet are a part of him. AND it could be worse since he's stepped in gross things from time to time. ;>

I have always called them Fri-toes!!!! No corn in our diets here - they get the odd piece of popcorn - but I don't think that counts.

Other than their toes, my two don't smell. I do know a number of dogs that have their smells emanate from the tops of their heads - particularly our hound friends! Very stinky!! Love 'em, but could never have one!!

Also know an Airdale that when he's afraid his whole body exudes a horrible smell! When there's thunder he stinks up the whole cottage!!

I'll take Fri-toes anyday!!!! Pass the dip!

My pawsitively perfect Chip doesn't smell but Dale's little head does although not as much since he has been on vitamins. I am hoping it will go away all together. Have never noticed the feet.

Mazie does have the Frito-Feet...I don't mind them because I love a good bag of Frito's every now and then .

I have never noticed a smell coming off the top of her head - and since I love kissing her head and face, I would know! She is a good sport about it though...very patient with me .

Until I got on the corgi site (a couple of years back), I'd not read anything about sniffing a dog PERIOD. There they mentioned corgi feet smelling like fritos. And I sniffed, and yes they do smell like fritos (both my corgis feet smell like fritos). Heaven knows I've never sniffed my dogs other than smelling their bad doggie breath before. Since I never sniffed any of the other breeds of dogs feet before I have nothing to compare. It seems like a disgusting thing to do sniffing out your dog (other than to smell if they are clean or not). a bit personal, no?

Our nightly ritual involves having Dillon ( and now Gus too!) on our bed for about 30 minutes for snuggle time before they go to their crates for bed. During that time, I MUST sniff the corgi foot- exclaim, PHEWWWW STINKY FEET and then have my husband sniff them too! We now have to do this for both Dillon AND Gus -we don't want him feeling left out you know!

Funny! Milo's feet do smell of fritos, by the way, I hate fritos. Wish he had dorito smelling feet instead!! Glad someone else noticed this too!

I swear I am not making this up: Milo's head smells like chocolate brownies. Everyone thinks i'm nuts until I tell them to stick their nose on his head and take a big sniff....they agree: his head smells like chocolate brownies. Weird.

Milo's mom, I believe you, My cat Clinton that passed two years ago, if you put your nose in his chest and took a big sniff, he smelled like warm vanilla sweet milk, very sweet and vanilla scented, people thought i was full of it but you know when they would smell him, they would all agree, he smelled GREAT! I only wish that Dillon and Gus could smell THAT good! but alas, frito feet...sigh
