It is quite windy here today also. Dale doesn't like the wind. But the sky is the prettiest blue and the sun is shining and feels warm so I would say in the high 50's. Spring is coming.

We had a ton of snow also - I have never seen so much snow at the end of my drivewway; at least 2 feet deep. My husband is stuck in CA (if you call that stuck) because of the weather we had yesterday and today and he could not get a flight home. My furnace was also out this morning; but that has since been taken care of. My daughter and I got all the snow cleared out and I need some

The dobes look gorgeous!
Here in MN we're also buried in snow. Not as much as expected but serious shoveling and snowblowing. 9" to drifts of 2 ft. I worried that our Tosca (named for a heroine in opera) would be unable to get through it but she LOVES it. She bounds like a kangaroo. She also loves burrowing through, using her nose like a little mole. I swear, this Corgi was made for snow! Our cocker (male, also 1 yr-old) is taller than she is but less excited about it. She gets him flying around and yips her demanding little bark saying "Play! play! play!" till he's all pooped out. |

Did someone say snow?
I had to shovel out my car and my corgi this morning.
We woke up the boyfriend with the 4x4 truck at 7AM so Penny could get to the puppy park and tromp on some pristine snow. She loved it. All the bunny-hopping through the deep stuff looks like a great workout. To all others enduring the weather, have fun and be safe! |

We only got 2" of snow today, which is nothing. However, we are getting that layer of sleet/ice again. Ugh. It's 30 degrees, so it is cold. I would rather get just snow!
Milo and I are going to curl up and watch the awards tonight! Milo hopes The Queen will win, only because it is the only movie to have Corgis in it!

Mmmmm....I don't know how ya'll stand all that cold and snow so often. I'm about as far North as I care to be. I saw someone on TV the other day up North actually shoveling about three feet of snow (or more) off the top of his house. No way I'd be up there. Of course, if you fell off, there's plenty of cushion below.

It is still snowing here! When ChloeLouise and I went out for "the last walk" this evening, she had to walk in the tire ruts in the road (snow plows work minimally on Sundays!)...We probably got 6-8 inches but maybe more because it blew around quite a bit. Anyway, all the area schools are already closed for tomorrow... Send some of that warm weather this way!

I LOVE your photos of Cody, Linda!! And he is NOT on-leash!...I am so envious - a well-behaved "free-range" Corgi! Altho, I was thinking that the snow is so deep here that ChloeLouise might stay sort of close if we played in the yard sans leash...especially if I have cookies in my pocket!
