Some Rotties have a longer fur length as well which is a fault in the show ring, though some less than reputable breeders will sell them as "exotic" Bavarian Bear Rotties or other such names...same as the "miniature Corgis" or the "rare" white doberman or the pocket beagles... I am sure you know what i mean...

The dogs still make good pets but are not "rare" and shouldn't cost more than the average "pet puppy". In fact if someone is advertising a dog as a "rare" whatever, well, that's a huge red flag. If it's rare in the breed, there's usually a reason it's unwanted, or "rare" for that breed. Peggy
