Chip has lounged on the coffee table since he was old enough to figure out how to get on it. He also walks across the end table to get to the recliner. Outside he sits on top of the picnic table so he can see further in the distance. Dale wants to but he is too little.

Lulu will now jump from sofa to coffee table. So needless to say, no food on the coffee table!
I too think Jemma was "caught in the act" and Rupes put her up to it!

I very rarely leave a plate or anything on a table, but this was one of those times! The hilarious thing is she just froze when I came in - I told her to get down and she just stood there staring at me! I had to lift her down.
Also, as much as we love to blame Rupe for everything - it's so easy - he was with me in the den while the little monkey was rinsing my plate for me!

Wow! I am impressed that Jemma got caught! How many times do you think she's done that before!!
Knock on wood that Ace has not attempted to jump up on our coffee table. But now that he saw the pictures of Jemma and Chip he might try it out!

Love that look on Jemma's face! It's like "OOPS! BUSTED!"
Duncan has never jumped on the coffee table, but, if I can ever figure out has to put a picture in the messages, I show where he "helped" me load the dishwasher one night. I was rinsing the some dishes off to put in the dishwasher, turned around, and there he was.....standing on the lid. He had this "what's the matter? I'm helping" look. I had caught him licking the dishes before as I was loading the washer and told him, no. Guess he thought that if he was on top of the lid, it would be alright, the little stinker!!

Love the pictures! funny!
Milo has never gotten on the coffee table. One time I caught him standing on his tippy toes, front paws on the table, stretched over a tissue box, yanking one tissue out at a time. I learned never to leave paper on the coffee table!

My cat is an accomplice to the crime
Love the pics - too cute! I laughed like crazy!
One day my corgi was licking clean a microwavable meal container. I couldn't figure out how in the world he got it off the kitchen island. It would be far to high for the short legged little guy to reach. Another time, a papertowel that we had used to fry bacon on was discovered in the possession of our corgi, again stolen from the island counter. We were starting to think maybe he could use those big ears to fly with. That is, until I walked in on my cat one day, nudging an empty tuna container off the side of the island with my corgi waiting excitedly below. Now I don't know if they worked this out together as a team or not, because normally they despise eachother. (Gromit is a cat-tail chaser). But Gromit is always the one who ends up with the goods. Poor kitty! The funny thing is, they only do this when nobody is around because my cat knows better than to get on the counter-tops. Someday I'll set up a video camera and see exactly what goes on when we're not home! |

Then, whenever I had friends from NY visit, I had to give them a primer in "how to order a cup of tea". Southern . . . Northern tea = unsweetened iced tea sweet tea = sweetened iced tea hot tea = tea
