Working Woolies tomorrow!

Okay, not technically working woolies, more like watching woolies being worked. I am going to audit a Patrick Shanahan herding clinic tomorrow. Squeals of delight.

Liam doesn't get to go. He'll be sad when he smells my shoes and realizes where I've been. But he gets to go Wednesday for his first real herding lesson. There will be photographic evidence on Thursday!

SQUEEE!! So excited to see pictures! I'm sure Liam will get over not being able to initially attend when he experiences the real thing on Wednesday!

Good luck!

I have a toddler that Liam could practice on.....

He knows what he's missing because he's been "on" sheep twice in instinct evals. He herds my 11yo son (eeek his birthday is tomorrow and he'll be 12! How did that happen?) and the cats who HATE IT, and try to give their best cougar impersonations to no avail.

Heh. Clogs herds me when I'm wheeling the wheel-barrow, or carrying the washing basket or any large box. Treats me and it like a herd of cows, rushing to the front to slow us down and then to the back to keep us going.

How do you say Liam? I have been reading a book and I am having a bit of trouble saying the name. Sorry if this is a stupid and off the subject question.

Thanks, I always feel like if I can't read the name I am doing a big injustice to the book.

Oh, how cool! Woolies!!

I have found a place just down the road that offers herding instinct tests almost every Saturday. I am very much looking forward to seeing how Trevor will react to woolies! (first I need to borrow a friend's video camera to capture the "evidence" )

Looking forward to seeing your pics on Thursday!
