Dale's Appt
I just got back from taking Dale to the Vet and he weighs a whopping 13.5 lbs and is 14 weeks old. He gained 4 lbs since I changed his dog food and put him on his vitamins.
Neutering is scheduled for May 25th. I opted not to get his rabies shot until he is a good 4 months old and he is starting heartworm prevention now.

Well I think his overbite is worse then Chip's but I might be more conscious of it. The vet says he has seen alot worse. It doesn't create the problems for him that it did Chip but we are all set up for overbites here and Dale's bottom baby canines are pulled so they can't injure the roof of his mouth. I am really dreading getting the permanent ones pulled. The vet says they are the hardest to pull but I really don't have an alternative. (I feel a guilty having them pulled) The root canals are just as hard if not harder on a pup. He is thriving now so he will be healthy going into it. I will have 4 days off to be with him. Thanks for asking.
