I actually like the name Jackson, too. Before Trevor, we had a Spitz named "Yukon Jack" or Jack for short. And often we called him "Jackson"
He was a great little guy and lived to age 15, so I am rather partial to that name.

While I am no fan of Jack as a name for a dog, I would be delighted with Jackson as a name for a Corgi - though I fear the shorter version would win out. My Taylor often gets called Tails (but only by me and my family and one of his agility instructors whose name is Paul Taylor).

Oh Amanda - how could you possibly resist that cutie? And I doubt you will find a better home for him than yours, so it seems like a done deal to me. I, obviously, like the name Jack, so I say keep it. But if it doesn't fit, then call him whatever your heart desires. He's your boy. And I have no doubt that you will fit him into your pack beautifully. Good luck and don't forget to keep us posted!
