Duchess and Zachary at Hampton Beach

Sunday Lovemycorgi and Jane Austen met at Hampton Beach, New Hampshire. The weather cooperated and the dogs met, I think as they get to know each other they will become friendlier.
Zachary is the most beautiful corgi imaginable. If you haven't seen his pictures yet, Edna is posting some from the beach soon. Her friend
is the camera expert, they emailed me some gorgious shots of the two dogs.
I would like to hear from other corgi owners from this area to get a playdate together. ( informally of course) If we can get a few more people, a general invitation may temp some " lurkers" out there to join us.

I've thought about getting as Corgi Meetup group going in Southern NH/ME, NE Mass.

Not sure what the rules are at Hampton but have found the most dog Friendly Beach in the area is Seapoint in Kittery ME.

We were there yesterday and there were appox 15 Dogs (all off leash) playing on the beach. I've been there when Byron was one of 5 Corgi's there.

Hope something can be setup

Most beaches in the area are open to dogs on the off season. Dogs are not allowed off leash at state parks and not at all in federal parks as far as I know.
Pat_M you will have to give me directions to Seapoint from route 1 or 1A.

Good on you Jane and LoveMyCorgi for meeting up and starting something. From my experience, most Corgis simply love these social outings among their own kind and after a few of them (outings), they get to know each other and also know what it is about even before a meeting occurs. So it is very stimulating for them and also of course for the owners. This year I am also going to attempt to arrange a dinner party for the owners in the Wellington Welsh Corgi Walking Club.

Wow those are some big Corgi dolls. Lady is no where near that size. She is not the size of most Corgis I see. Maybe she was the runt. She is getting bigger though. I see now why obesity is one of the main concerns with Corgis. Lady constantly wants to eat and unfortunately she is too cute to not give in to her appetite.

That is a great photo, so glad you were able to do a corgi meetup, the one we just had was so fun and our corgis had a fun playing and interacting with other corgis.. Dutchess is so lovely! SO very happy to finally see a photo of your beautiful girl. Zachary is very handsome and looks like he is having a blast too! Sounds like a fun time...thanks for posting the photo -

Also , I have seen a big difference in sizes when i see corgis out and about- there are some quite petite ones that I have seen in school that make mine look HUGE. I think different lines might have different size dogs... not sure, maybe lady is from petite lines !
