Dale loves the water
We took Chip and Dale out on the pontoon today and it was 78 degrees. Beautiful day and Dale true to form followed his brother right up on the boat and loved it. We stopped on a little island for a pee break for the boys and Dale just starts walking through the mud (he must be related to Rup) and trotted right into the water. I had dropped their leashes and let them wander a little bit and Dale headed out in the lake with me right behind him

Wonderful, Bonnie. It's been too cold here to try and get Zia into the water. It misted yesterday and poured rain today. It is supposed to clear out tomorrow. I'm not sure if I'll be able to get her into the water this trip. We have to go home Thursday. Her and Zip are having a blast with Mollie and Marlee. They run, eat, sleep, play, and then start over.

Pontoon is playing cards, and boating - and from a pontoon there is swimming
Around a Pontoon there lies mud, and water - and a pontoon is for living. |

That is great Bonnie, and i have to add that i am a bit jealous, as it is still cold here, and there is still ice along the shores of the river here....right now it is 31 degrees out.. though it will get warmer during the day today ( should hit 50)! I am so glad that Dale loves the water... Dillon as of last year was not a big fan of it, he will go in a stream up to his belly but not much deeper than that unless we pick him up and walk out and place him in the water, at which time he proceeds to panic, sticks his nose in the air, snuffs and snorts ( like as IF he got water in his nose, which he never has) and paddles like crazy to get to shore..maybe this year he will like it better... becuase we just got gus this winter, we have no idea what he thinks of water or if he has ever even been to a lake ... I know he doesnt care about getting his feet wet like DIllon does...

I'm so happy that Dale is a natural when it comes to water. The boys will have a ball playing in it together I'm sure!!
Now don't tell anyone Bonnie, but one of the mysterious genes that Corgis carry is the wart-hog gene!! Some, like Rupe, carry more than others!!

Deb:
Chip doesn't have the wart-hog gene, he looks at Dale like he is crazy or going to start melting when Dale plays in the water. I am really tickled that Dale likes it though. Maybe it will rub off on chip. By the way, 82 degrees today. Spring has sprung

I am so jealous of your warm weather Bonnie! And of your water-loving dog! Do you think Dale could write a short letter to Jackie?
