Frodo goes to the park. - 03-26-2007, 05:20 PM

It was another gorgeous day out so I decided to take Frodo down to the park because Izzy had gone yesterday. His day was much less eventfull than Izzy's but that suited him just fine. We sniffed and ran, sniffed and ran, sniffed and ran, and just for a change of pace we sniffed and ran some more, lol. If your wondering why Frodo is leashed, it's because he hasn't mastered the recall yet (we're at about 75%) and I don't see it happening anytime soon, lol, so for now he is confined to a 30 ft. leash.
Some pics (he is not nearly as photogenic or willing as Izzy):
It's so hard to get a good shot of his face because his ears are so stinkin big and never fit in the frame, lol.

My tracking pupper:

Attempting to herd, I don't remember what it was this time (although I recall there being a bug)

"Hi Mom!"

Mt studly boy:

Enjoy,
Lauren

Me too, MrsGrace. Anyone who can't smile at Corgi pics needs a face lift.

Oh Frodo is adorable and quite photogenic, too! He seems like he was having fun at the park.. His recall will come in time, just keep on practicing. Thanks for sharing the photos, you have some really sweet looking corgis!

I keep telling myself this, he is only 14 months after all, but I tend to compare him to Izzy who had learned it fairly quickly. I know that I shouldn't because they are individuals and very different, but I can't help it sometimes

He loves the park and I love what happens when we get home from the park

Frodo has a very nice topline - not many Corgis are as good as his. His belly is a long way off the ground and if he has good bone, he would be an ideal candidate for a sport such as agility.
