I just got back from the park, and I got loads of great pics of Shippo! I just had to share. >^_^<
The park has a nice, green, fenced in set of baseball fields. This is where I train my dogs and do off-leash things like fetch. Nobody seems to mind, as long as I am not interrupting a baseball game or practice. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I LOVE this down-stay pic, <3 Then we walked further, through the brush and trees, where there is a creek and some marshes, took some more pics and watched the ducks. >^_^< ![]() (Continued in next post) |

Those are good pics. I wonder what he thought of the ducks? Did he try chasing them? It's sure good to see he's in good spirits as opposed to several days ago. I'd get me a video camera, Cheetah, and take some videos also. Stills are great but, I like to catch some moments with a video camera, too. The one I have of about 20 minutes with Katie I wouldn't trade for the world...hearing her tail thump on the deck, here nails scratching the wood floor and hearing an occasional bark and panting. It's good to have both. One thing I've learned about pictures and videos-the become more priceless with age and especially when someone's not there anymore.
I'm going to have to update my camera as it's about fifteen years old (a Sony TR-400) and uses a Hi-8 cartridge. I want to get one that will use a 3-inch disc so I can play it right on the DVD player. |

Shippo poses so perfectly, what a model! He is gorgeous.
Your photo of the ducks is breath taking. What a perfect shot, oh my. I do enjoying watching ducks. In the city we had a creek in the back of the property and the memories feeding the ducks (chicken scratch) and watching the mama come up to our fence for it. Pepper left them alone because she was chased by a mean goose one time. She remembered the beak. Merrie |

Shippo looks great with the wind blowing back his gorgeous hair...he's a natural born model.

Taylor is not a duck chaser either but he occasionally decides to make a regular pair of geese fly off to another part of the park where they are often parked. I like especially the pic of Shippo crouching down and looking very contented.
