After a long search for a new cardi puppy, we found one, or, he found us. I had talked with different breeders, but none seemed "right". And the "right" ones wouldn't have puppies available for a very long time. When we got our Pem we knew nothing other than don't go to a pet shop. So the "breeder" we found in the newspaper was less than ideal. This time I wanted to do it right.
I thought I'd ask the local Cardi rescue person about any possibilities. There really weren't any ideal dogs for us there, but she mentioned a puppy she knew of with a very good breeder. It had been reserved but the adoptive family's circumstances had changed and they could no longer take a puppy. Long story made short, we are getting this puppy! He's a brindle and will be 11 weeks old when we get him in 2 weeks. !!!!2 WEEKS!!!! YAY!!!
Because the breeder is quite far from us, we are meeting her to pick up the puppy at the Cardigan Welsh Corgi Club of the Western Reserve spring fun match - lots of corgi fun there! Anyone going?
