Corgis on Dogster's - 04-04-2006, 06:06 PM

The Dogster website is certainly attractive for a lot of people.
A page devoted to your Corgi with lots of photos and some funny things to say, is free and gets to be well viewed despite the 155,000 dogs currently on the site and growing by 300-600 per day. There is over a 1000 Corgis each with their own page.
My Pem, Taylor is one of only two Corgis from New Zealand featured on Dogster's. If anyone wants to view Taylor's page just go to www.dogster.com and click onto "advance search" scroll to "Pembroke Welsh Corgi" and lock in and type in "New Zealand" agaiinst "country" and click and the second Corgi that comes up is my Tails.

I'm sure there will be quite a few Go Corgi members already etched into the Dogster website which was named by the Times Magazine as one of the top 50 websites on the internet for 2005. If not, I'd encourage members to participate- it's fun and there are lots to things to do apart from creating a page for your Corgi - or each of your Corgis. And. there should be more Corgis on the site in any case.

Dogster was all the rage on many of the corgi lists earlier this year. I believe some of the members here found GoCorgi from mention of it on Dogster.

My guys are listed on Dogster but I don't check the site that often. It takes forever to open the site up on my computer.

That's funny, because with me, Dogster's is as quick to open and scout around as Go Corgi. And both sites are fine even though I am just on the slow boat, dial-up system.

Oh wow! I really like the profile system there. I'm going to try to incorporate something like that here.

That would be an excellent idea. Dogster is at the leading edge of an interating, special interest membership website and to incorporate some of their aspects into Go Corgi would be a bonus and a boost for Go Corgi .
