Since my girl is only 7 months old and I'm not as persistant with my training as I should be, she is pretty good with 'leave it' but I wouldn't put a plate of food on the floor. Even if she would listen and 'leave it' the cats would not. Once the cats were going for it, she would have to horn in and get her share...
