Meeting a forum member

or the title might be - A Great Way to Find One's New Puppy

Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting forum member Laura, her DH and sister. We met up at the Piedmont Kennel Club's show in Charlotte, NC and had a wonderful time talking about both corgi breeds, meeting a nice variety of corgis - all colors, ages, sizes and personalities. They got to see first hand the subtle differences between the two breeds which helped in their decision of which one was right for them.

While I genuinely enjoyed the time I spent with Laura and family, what was really fun also was watching them talk to the breeders and exhibitors, interact with the dogs, ask great questions, take in a lot of information and enjoy themselves. I know they got a lot of good leads from puppies available now to litters planned down the road. They took all this home to think about and I believe are in a good position to make a well-informed decision. Most impressive is they are not in a hurry and are taking their time. They are going to be a great corgi home!

I had a wonderful time and am looking forward to hearing from them in the future as news develops.
