We only use Maxi's little house when we travel, I am not secure that he would not find something new he would like to taste, so he has to stay in his little house when no one can stay with him. He is free to roam our house with Medjai. When he was a puppy and on his own, he was put in this little house when no one was home. My husband thought we I was being cruel by leaving him there when we were out, so he decided to leave him out one day and when he came home Maxi had chewed a 1 ft x 1 ft hole in the bedroom carpet all the way to the sub-floor. Maxi went into his little house the next day. We used bitter apple with him and he did not like it at all, we only had to use it for a short time, Corgi seem to learn very fast.

We crated Snowdon about an hour after we brought him home. From the "traumatic" trip (twisty road that made him carsick) from the breeders, to the strange new place that is his home; after he wandered around and checked the new digs, he was quite exhausted, so when he got all sleepy and laid down where he was, I scooped him up and put him in his crate where he didn't budge for a good three hours. Now the only time he's in it is at night when he takes himself to bed.

Well, I hate to disagree with you... so I wont! Yes he is a cutie, he gets his good looks from his father, Duncan who can be seen here: http://mackeywelshcorgis.dogpage.us/ourmales.htm
Here's a picture of Snowdon in his crate after his trip to his new home:

He's a great "chick magnet" as well, but my wife says that I tend to cancel out the effect so she's not too woried!
If you're interested in seeing some more pictures, including his first visit to the Ocean check out his pics on Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/podgorney/
