This must all be very frustrating for you - I know that once I made up my mind that I wanted another corg, I just couldn't wait! Well, I had to of course, but you know what I mean.

The PWCCA also has affliated regional clubs. The Houston club I gave the link to is one. It's not a store however, not sure if that's what you meant or not. Peggy

Just as an update, I talked to the Houston breeder, and her litter is at 3 weeks. When they get older (8-10) and she can tell me more about the litter, I'll hopefully be able to pick one up!
Wish me luck.. in a couple months

CaseLogic - even I can't wait. You'll just have to think of other things and get really busy with whatever and put the whole thing out of your mind until the time comes to either view the growing litter of Corgis via the computer or in person. Choosing the Corgi from a litter (presuming you will have a choice) can be exacting or it can be treated as a fun thing. There is nothing wrong with the latter so long as you make sure the pup has no visable physically faulty aspects. We all have our favourite qualities - mine would be active. So I wouldn't select a qiuet, unassuming Corgi.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.
![]() It seems a long time to me that you have had to wait, but it must seem even longer to you. I'm already looking forwards to pix of the new baby...

I'm curious what the situation will be.. at that point she'll have determined which are good for show, and which are good for pets. She hasn't told me anything about waiting lists, so I'm not sure if I'm going to have my hand forced one way or another (can only select from pets, or can only select from show), so we'll just have to wait and see until then!

Breeders can often tell at about 8 weeks which puppies they want to run on or place as show prospects and which puppies will be more suitable for pet homes. If you are working with a reputable breeder it will be worth the wait. Trust your breeder. And remember anything worth having is worth the wait. Peggy
