Squeeeeee! We went to the dog park, ran around, and got rid of all that extra energy, and then we went and got tested. He passed with flying colors! This is my first CGC dog! I'm so excited!!

If intelligence is required for a dog to gain a Good Citizen certificate, then Shippo definitely has it. In NZ there is a move to ask local councils to give the owners of CGC dogs an annual registration rebate ( say $30 per annum), you should try and get that kind of initiative installed in the USA etc. Afterall, it represents a well behaved and well adjusted dog among people and other dogs etc - what more would the town/city authorities want?

I think there might already be something like that in this city for owners of altered CGC dogs (unaltered still save, but not as much). I'll have to check. Also, the CGC looks good to potential landlords.
