I have always wondered about my little Corgi, she just never seem to fit the bill about being mouthy, bouncy, or any other standard Corgi thrill.

Take for instance her little attitude, though I want to pet, hug, and chase her around, she just won't do it unless she wants to. She likes to have her belly rubbed but only for short periods of time, and a small pet behind her ears and she acts like thats just fine.

She said to me "Love me little and let me be, the floor is cold and feels good on my tummy." She smiles at me and tells me what she wants but once she gets her way, she just walks off to go lay down and play another day. I love my little doggie and miss her when I'm gone but why must my little Corgi say to me "Love me little and Let me be?"

It sounds funny that a military man thinks about his Corgi all day long!!!

I think it's sweet that you think about your Corgi all day long. I know that Charlie has become my wonderful obsession. When I first got Charlie, he didn't seem to want too much "cuddle time", but I did! I petted him and put him on my lap a lot more than he wanted and after a couple of weeks, he at least "pretended" to like it. Over time he's turned into my snuggle bunny-butt lap dog.
