There are corgis who should weigh less than the "ideal" in the standard. How much do you feed her each day, and what are you feeding her?

Also how old is she? And have you had her thyroid checked?

Peggy
Well first we asked him how many litters he has at his house and then we asked how many puppies he has at his house right now...Also when i said show he didnt specifie but he is a big horse person and has a reputation of selling his pups at horse shows so that is what i meant. he also has 3 different types of dogs, jacks, corgis, and yorkies. he acted like a salesman, he is also not a member of any clubs

As for megan, she is 11 (look at my sig), i feed her 1/4 cup of purina senior, and a teaspoon to a tablespoon of wet food. 2 milkbone cookies a day, and a little trears hroughout the day

Try subsituting raw veggies for her treats during the day. This is a case of "do as I say, not what I do". sometimes I have the veggies handy and she loves them too.

When you said show I was thinking dog show not horse show.

Ok, so he's a commercal breeder at best, a puppy mill at worst.

At her age, a thyroid problem would not be uncommon. Have you had her checked for that? If not I suggest you do. Cut out the little treats throughout the day and break ONE milkbone in to peices. Give her a tiny peice at a time. They like the treats not the size.

I'd cut back on the canned food too.

Please get her thyroid checked. Excess weight can cause heart problems, kidney problems and so on and cut her life short.
