So "easty/westy" is different from "knuckling over"? He just turned 8 months on the 19th. I posted a new picture in the photo gallery. He's sitting, but you can see the "knob" on his foreleg and that's a pretty good photo of how much his feet turn out when he sits or stands.

Oh my what a cute face!

If he's knuckling over it's just slightly. and yes, his feet are a tad bit east/west. His pasterns (wrist area) is a bit closer than it should be.

When a Pembroke matures and the rib cage springs (widens) and the chest drops sometimes the front legs will correct. Maybe, maybe not, he might always turn out a bit. (Maybe he thinks he's a cardi?)

I doubt he'll have problems with it though.

Thanks! It's his cute face that keeps me smiling when he's being sweet, charming, funny...and even teenage mutant stubborn Corgi.

My main concern is that he won't be more prone to injury if his legs are bad by putting him into sports. Sounds like I can probably continue with my plan for Charlie the Flying Agility (or Flyball) Corgi. Right now I'm having a blast watching him grow up and working the basic obedience stuff. Thank you so much for your help and input! We should all give you a fee for your expert advice, or at least come over and shovel your snow!

Hi Corgi-Lover! I recognized you from the other forum. Just figured you probably didn't need to read the same answers from me twice. So I picked the other forum to send you notes.

I don't think so but since I've not done that I can't say for sure. Just keep an eye on him.

Well, we've got most of the paths cleared now. We still have these huge piles of snow though. The dogs think it's fun to run up an down them now.

Well, other people have posted pictures of their dogs and I thought I would post some of Waeryn because I would love to hear from experienced people. So, I'd like some opinions on her coloring and structure, and anything else you can tell from the pictures. Thanks!

PS. If you feel like I'm intruding on your post please let me know and I'll post it elsewhere.

His markings are fine. His blaze looks like it either breaks or narrows very much on the top of his head. The white on his neck is a collar or partial collar. (I can't tell if it's all around his neck or not, if so it's a full collar if not it's partial.)

Pretty markings if you ask me.
It becomes very narrow, but is continuous over the top and the collar is full-if width doesn't matter. It becomes very narrow/thin on one side. Thank you for the nice comment, I think he is very pretty too!

Chris, I looked at your 8 month picture of Charlie and he's a real cutie! Wish I could get pictures as nice as that one!

Cooper thinks he looks great; He saw the picture and you got a WOOF. So I guess he passes the Corgi test, and really that is all that matters.

Nice full color with even markings..He's a cute Corgi..

Thanks! She is such a sweetie and now that she's getting older she's turning into a major snuggle bug!

Critiquing, maybe we'd better call a halt to this. It's very hard to critique by photos. How the dog stands makes a big difference. The dog needs to be in a natural stand and the photos need to be from the dog's level and from the side and front. Any angle with the camera affects the way one sees the dog. Feeling the bone structure and watching the dog move is a big part of it too.

I can comment on markings and Waeryn's are just fine. She's got a pretty coat.

Yeah, I was curious how much could be told from just looking at pictures of the dog. Just wanted to know for fun. Thanks for the compliment on her coat!
