Fort Woof - Gateway Park - Fort Worth, Texas

I don't know if any of you have great parks that are set -up for your puppy.

But, in Fort Worth we love our dogs and they have there own park.
Some of the pictures that I have posted , are from that park with Sharlla and Cooper and Michael.

And it's #1 in the United States.

That's cool! We do love our dogs in TX. I was born in Ft Worth and live in Austin, where we have 12 dog parks and are usually in the top 5 best overall cities (dogtowns) for dogs to live.

In the 2007 rankings, Austin came in #2 DogTown after San Diego. What jumped out at me was that we have approximately 1 dog per 2 humans here...the highest ratio of dogs to people on the list!!!

I wish we had a dog park close to us. The nearest one is about 30 miles or more away.
I told my husband, if I had the money and the area was zoned for business, there is a big lot behind my house that I would love to make a Canine Cafe into.

We have two within about 30 miles. Marymoor Park and the Edmonds Pier has an off-leash park also! Westin loves it.

Dog parks are great. We don't have a backyard so the city dog parks are the only places where I can let Nick off leash and romp around with his friends
