Update on Duchess

The vet is very pleased with Duchess. And says she is in great shape.
When I asked the doctor to be more specific about the diagnosis for her recent stomach problems, She said "It was just a bug or infection of the dog's liver and to be more exact would require a biopsy" She showed me the Xrays and pointed out that all the organs looked normal. We went over the blood test and she explained what she saw in order to diagnose the problem. I also asked about all the other things I heard about on this web site, Gastritis, Panceatitis and Cushing disease. The vet did not expect a reoccurance of this problem.

Great news Jane and a great relief to you as well. There have been several corgis on several of the corgi lists to come down with tummy ailments lately caused by a variety of bugs. One poor little fluffy fellow had to spend a couple of nights at the vet's office due to dehydration. So there are some things going around. Glad she's in tip top shape!

Glad Duchess got the clear to go from the Vet. Having a sick pet is some worrysome, because you are trying to do the best for them, sometimes I wish they could talk to tell me what is wrong and if what I am doing for them is making them feel better.
